The splash park closes annually for winter maintenance from after the July school holidays, re-opening for the September school holidays.
For a safe and enjoyable experience, it's important to be familiar with our Splash Park Policy, located below, before heading into the Splash Park.
All park facilities, including the Splash Park are for use by registered guests staying at the park only.

Splash Park Instructions /Safety Requirements

In order to ensure the comfort, enjoyment and safety of all our guests staying with us, we have established a set of clear and enforceable rules and instructions for our Splash Park. This will ensure that all guests and staff remain safe for the duration of their stay.

Children under 14 must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times using the splash park.
There is no lifeguard on duty.
Splash park is for registered park guests only and wrist bands must be worn at all times. Lost or replacement bands will cost $25.00.
Please check the rider’s height and weight, scales and height gauges are available in the Reception building.
The minimum height for the Aquatube and Compact slide (green slide and blue slide) is 120cm and the maximum weight is 120kg.
The height restrictions for the Multislide (white, double slide) are minimum height of 100cm and a maximum height of 140cm. The weight limit is maximum of 50kg.
Please follow the safety rules displayed on all the signage in the splash park.
Parent/guardians ensure that children are following the safety signage and instructions at all times.

Day Visitor Policy

VISITORS FROM THE LOCAL AREA

Due to WA laws and insurance, Albany locals wishing to use the park facilities must book a site/cabin and become a registered guest.

We have a limited number of sites available at current advertised site prices as per website. (Max 6 persons per site)
Please note: If the park is fully booked, unfortunately there are no sites available. No other access will be given.
Must call, email or visit online to check availability and book a site.
If booking is for Splash Park use, please advise staff when making your booking so we can make a note. This will allow you park access before the standard 2pm check-in and will require you to park your vehicle outside the park and wait for check-in and your site to be ready for use.
It is the responsibility of all parents/guardians to supervise children at all times during your time at the park.

VISITORS OF REGISTERED GUESTS

Guests booked in our accommodation or sites are permitted to have day visitors during their stay.

All visitors must be registered at reception with a guest from the booking so we can sell you a day pass and book you in as a guest.
The charge for visitors of registered guests wishing to book a day pass and be using the park facilities is $25 per person.
There is a maximum of 6 persons per site – this includes guests/visitor day pass guests.
Visitors of guests will receive a wrist band recorded on the guests booking who is staying. If your day visitor is just visiting you with no facility use, they still need to register at the office, however, there is no charge and no wrist band issued and it will be noted on their reservation.
Visitors of guests are not available over long weekends, school holidays and the peak times over Easter (Thurs-Mon 5 days) and 18th December to 31st January each year.
It is the responsibility of all parents/guardians to supervise children at all times during your time at the park.
Vehicles must be parked outside the park as per the direction of park staff.

PARTY BOOKING ENQUIRIES

Those wishing to book for a birthday party are permitted with the following conditions.

Must book a site. Prices can be found on our website or by calling reception. Maximum 6 person per site as per standard booking rules.
Parties are limited to 10 children maximum. This equates to 1 adult and 5 children over 2 sites.
No more than 10 children are permitted, and no day passes, or additional guests will be allowed.
Party is to be hosted at booked site for your stay. Whilst park BBQ and Camp Kitchen facilities may be used, you must remember the holiday park is a shared space and they are not reservable spaces.

Our jumping pillows are available for children of all ages, we just ask you to be mindful of the younger children and the pillow is equally shared.

Opening hours are 8.00am - 7.00pm for the large pillow (in front of the Rec Room) and 9.00am to 6.00pm for the smaller pillow (next to the Theatre Room).
Use of the pillow when wet is strictly prohibited.
Children under 12 must be supervised by adults.
No shoes, bikes, scooters etc or anything sharp to be on or near the pillows please.

When the kids have worn themselves out by bouncing around, send them over to the mini-golf course.

Little buccaneers will love our colourful playground, featuring swings, slides, and monkey bars. Our giant pirate ship has climbing nets, a fun water pump, and a lazy web swing for hours of imaginative play. Ahoy!

Mini Golf

Challenge your family and friends on the nine-hole mini golf course at BIG4 Emu Beach Holiday Park.

Guests who are staying in the park are able to play for free.
These can be hired from reception between 8:30am-6pm (5pm in winter) and we ask they be returned after your game so others can play.
Your name and site/cabin number and time you have taken the clubs will be recorded.
So that everyone gets a turn, we ask that clubs be out for no more than 90 minutes.
If your game is running a bit behind, just call back to the office and inform our reception team to adjust your return time.
Please note that our facility is NOT open to the general public.

When you've finished your game, how about a ride around on one of the fun Pedal Karts?

Pedal Karts

Pedal Karts are a super fun way to explore the park and are available for hire from Reception.

Explore the park on a Pedal Kart! We have the following available for hire:

2 x Double go-karts (seats 2)
2 x Single go-karts (seats 1)

Both karts are available for hire at $15 per hour and can be hired from 8.30am, with last hour hire from 4.30pm.

Please note:

A parent/guardian (over 18yrs) must be the one to hire the kart out for children.
Parent/guardian will receive the key to unlock the kart when hiring and is to retain the key during hired timeslot so they can assist the child with locking the kart on return completion of hire.
Key must be returned to reception staff on completion of hire and not passed to next person waiting in line to hire kart.

Rec Room

When your kids have had their fill of Mini Golf, the Jumping Pillow and Pedal Karts, then take a break in our Rec Room and play a game of ping ping or pool!

Tour Booking and Reception

Reception office hours:

Main hours are 8am to 8pm every day.
Winter hours - 8am to 6.30pm every day in June, July and August (excluding the July School Holidays which are 8am to 8pm).
Summer holidays - 8am to 9pm every day. Closed on Christmas Day.

You don't need to cook in your van or tent while holidaying at BIG4 Emu Beach - take advantage of the undercover BBQ areas where you can meet other like-minded travellers. There is also a fully equipped Camp Kitchen available for guests of the park to use.

Cancellation & changes

CANCELLATION POLICY

A cancellation fee of $30 applies in every instance to all cancelled confirmed bookings.

Standard 14 day Policy (Year round except Xmas & Easter)

- Cancellations made greater than 14 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund, less our standard $30 cancellation fee. If cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival you will forfeit all monies paid.

Easter 30 day Policy

- Cancellations made greater than 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund, less our standard $30 cancellation fee. If cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival you will forfeit all monies paid.

Xmas/Jan 60 day Policy

- Cancellations made greater than 60 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund, less our standard $30 cancellation fee. If cancelled less than 60 days prior to arrival you will forfeit all monies paid.

We strongly recommend travel insurance for your own peace of mind. There are NO REFUNDS on early departures.

Payment & deposits

Full payment is required at the time of booking for all online bookings. Deposits are required when booking by telephone with the park. Please confirm deposit requirements with the park. Bookings are not confirmed until deposits have been received. All Ensuite/Powered site bookings made between 23rd Dec-31st Jan & Easter dates must complete a site agreement form which will be sent to them on completion of their online booking. This form is compulsory and must be completed and returned within 48 hours of booking or your reservation will be cancelled, and all monies paid will be refunded.

Dogs are welcome on our Large Powered Sites, Powered Sites only and at Manager's discretion. Please contact us directly on 1800 984 411 to discuss your pet and travel needs. Date restrictions apply including from 18th December to 31st January each year and all Easter dates.

Please note: there are strictly no pets allowed in any of our cabin accommodation or on our Ensuite Sites.

All bookings with pets require a $50.00 pet bond. This can be done by recording your credit/debit card on your booking. We record your credit card number on your reservation and only charge the card if required. We will ask for your card information on check-in if there is no card on your booking already.

If you have booked online and not already done so when booking, please email through the name and breed of your dog/s so we can record on your booking. Alternatively, you may supply this information on check-in. You will also be asked if you agree to these rules on arrival and will be marked as so on your booking.

Please ﬁnd below rules for dog owners:

RULES OF OCCUPANCY WITH YOUR DOG

The dog must be leashed at all times whilst in the holiday park - No exceptions.
The dog must be supervised at all times and never left unattended. You can not leave your dog in the park while you go sight seeing for the day.
For health and safety reasons dogs are not allowed in any common areas of the park (eg: amenity blocks, laundry areas, camp kitchens and reception area).
For health and safety reasons, dogs must not be washed or cleaned anywhere in the park.
Dog owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their pets waste in appropriate doggy or plastic bags and placed in the rubbish bins located throughout the park.
Dog owners are personally responsible, and will be held to be so, for any and all personal injuries, property damage or losses in relation to actions caused by the dog.
The dog owner must agree that the park manager reserves the right to evict any guests whose dog is deemed noisy, disruptive, aggressive or the subject of complaints from other guests.

Other useful information

ALL PEAK SEASON BOOKINGS (EASTER & DEC/JAN HOLIDAYS):
All Ensuite/Powered site bookings for peak periods MUST complete a Site Agreement Form or no booking can occur. This includes booking periods 23rd December until 31st January and Easter weekend dates. If you book a site online, one of these forms will be sent to you and need to be returned within 48 hours or your booking will be cancelled and refunded if any monies paid. Please fill in the site agreement form and email back to the park at info@big4emubeach.com.au

NOTE: When filling in details regarding sizing of caravans, tents etc - please give us as much information as possible to make it easier to place you on the correct size site. Caravan sizes including drawbar are a fantastic help, same as if you have a rear entry van, slide outs or expandas. The more information you put on the form, the better.

Due to space limitation and safety, strictly one vehicle only per site. Limited boat and trailer storage is available at a charge of $5 per day. We strongly suggest travel insurance for your own peace of mind.
