Exciting news for surf enthusiasts and beach lovers!

Middleton Beach, just 3km from BIG4 Emu Beach Holiday Park, is now home to the impressive Southern Ocean Surf Reef.

This incredible artificial reef project, decades in the making, has officially opened. Constructed with 70,000 tonnes of granite, it's designed to create a consistent left-hand wave approximately 120 metres offshore.

The surf reef is already making a splash, bringing more people into the water and adding another fantastic activity to enjoy in Albany. Whether you're a keen surfer or just love watching the waves, this new addition to Middleton Beach is a must-see during your stay.

Get ready to experience Albany's newest attraction and perhaps even catch a wave!
