Albany’s natural topography makes it a great place for adventure.

Head off the beaten track with a 4WD drive out to West Cape Howe National Park. Stand on the southern most point of Western Australia and peek over the dolerite cliffs, if you dare! Self drive the 4WD track, or embark on a 4WD tour with a knowledgeable guide. Seeking more of a challenge? Look no further than the Mount Clarence Downhill, a 700m long purpose-built downhill track right in the centre of Albany with breathtaking views over King George Sound. Starting at Mount Clarence, the track drops 70m vertical and features trees, rock gardens, and boulders and obstacles, including jumps and drops.
