Number 7 Park
Number 7 Park is an important part of Bendigo’s gold mining history. The reservoir and its water purification system were the first of their kind in Australia, supplying treated drinking water to Bendigo’s miners in the 1860s. Visitors can still see the settling ponds, basin, and channel system while exploring the interpretive walking tracks through the surrounding Box-Ironbark forest.
