South Coast beaches suit all manner of water leisure, including surfing, swimming, snorkelling, and fishing. Among the many prized picks are Merimbula-Pambula, Broulee Beach at Batemans Bay, and Hyams Beach and Green Patch in the Jervis Bay area.
Montague Island Nature Reserve, just offshore from Narooma, is a top choice for diving. It attracts a large fur seal colony, and swimming with these incredible creatures is an electrifying experience.
