This popular park has been bookable on BIG4.com.au for some time, however, they’ve made the transition from a Partner Park to a fully-fledged BIG4 park. So if you’ve been before, this time you’ll notice the sign and BIG4 on the door. However, everything else you’ve come to love and expect is still the same.
Located at the top of the famous Tamar Valley just 45 minutes north of Launceston and 90 minutes from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal in Devonport.
This charming park offers choices abound for every traveller's budget – from sites to cosy, budget-friendly cabins all the way through to fancy cottages with stunning water views. Each cabin comes fully equipped with all the home essentials, including comfy bedding, fluffy towels, and both heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort.
Guests at the park can enjoy a host of convenient amenities. Fancy a barbecue? There are gas BBQs ready for your grilling pleasure. Or maybe whip up a feast in the well-equipped camp kitchen. If you’ve got laundry needs, no worries—coin-operated washers and dryers are at your service. Plus, the little ones can run amok on the kid’s playground.
Set in a prime location, the park offers easy access to an array of nearby attractions. Don't miss the nightly Penguin Tour, or the famous Tamar Valley Wine Route just a stone's throw away. Explore East Beach, soak up some history at the Low Head Lighthouse or Maritime Museum & Pilot Station, and get a glimpse of the past in historic George Town. Adventure seekers can cast a line in the Tamar River or explore deeper into the region with visits to Beaconsfield Mine Museum, Seahorse World & Platypus House, and ziplining fun at Hollybank Wilderness Adventures.
