BIG4 Low Head Tourist Park Overview

BIG4 Low Head Tourist Park is located at the top of the Tamar Valley, a 45-minute drive north of Launceston and 90 minutes from the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry Terminal in Devonport. This Low Head caravan park offers powered and unpowered sites and accommodation to suit all budgets, from budget style economy cabins to well-appointed water view cottages. All cottages and cabins are fully self-contained and include bedding, towels and linen plus split system heating and air conditioning. In park facilities include free gas BBQs, a well-appointed camp kitchen, laundry facilities with coin operated washers and dryers and a kid’s playground. The park is in close are proximity to the nightly Penguin Tour and the Tamar Valley Wine Route. Explore East Beach, the Tamar River, Low Head Lighthouse, Maritime Museum & Pilot Station and Historic George Town. Take to the water for fishing, visit one of the many wineries or go a little bit further and visit Beaconsfield Mine Museum, Seahorse World & Platypus House and Hollybank Wilderness Adventures. There is plenty to see and do so relax, unwind, enjoy the scenery and stop and rest awhile.
