New parks at BIG4 in August 2024
We're thrilled to welcome aboard three new parks this month. Headlined by a BIG4 park located in Victoria's High Country and two new Partner Parks situated in Queensland and Victoria.
BIG4 Rutherglen Holiday Park is your next perfect escape, located near Lake King Wetlands with top-notch amenities, pet-friendly stays, and easy access to local vineyards and recreation. BIG4 Rutherglen Holiday Park, VIC
Region: Victoria’s High Country
Nestled across three acres, BIG4 Rutherglen Holiday Park is your gateway to relaxation, surrounded by sports and recreational facilities. This pet-friendly park offers self-contained cabins, powered caravan sites, and unpowered camping sites, all with access to a centrally located amenities block, disabled facilities, coin-operated laundry, and a camp kitchen.
Located next to the scenic Lake King Wetlands, the park provides direct access to the local swimming pool, tennis courts, and Apex Park, which features a playground, skate park, and kids' cycle course. Nearby, you'll find the Rutherglen Bowls Club and a welcoming golf course. The region is renowned for its vineyards, exceptional restaurants, and charming cafés. Main Street, just a short stroll away, is lined with unique shops, inviting pubs, and delightful bakeries, all with stunning views of Lake King Wetlands.
After a day of wine tasting, return to the park for happy hour, where you can share your adventures with fellow guests as the sun sets over the lake. In winter, gather around a cosy fire, and in summer, relax under the shade of gum trees by the water's edge.
New Partner Parks
Toowoomba Motor Village, QLD
Region: Toowoomba & Golden West
Just minutes from Toowoomba’s lively city centre, Toowoomba Motor Village offers a peaceful retreat amidst tranquil parklands. Guests can expect warm hospitality and choose from a variety of accommodation options, including self-contained, air-conditioned units and cabins, as well as spacious, pet-friendly powered and unpowered sites with water and grey water solutions.
Located just 3km south of Toowoomba's centre, the park provides convenient access to local amenities and attractions, from diverse dining options to supermarkets, shopping centres, and service stations. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the scenic cycleways at the nearby West Creek Reserve.
Situated in the Darling Downs region of south-eastern Queensland, Toowoomba is renowned for its picturesque landscapes, rich agricultural heritage, and vibrant cultural scene, making it an ideal destination for exploration and relaxation.
Crystal Brook Tourist Park, VIC
Region: Greater Melbourne
Crystal Brook Tourist Park serves as the ideal base for exploring Melbourne's vibrant and diverse offerings. Nestled in Doncaster East, the park provides a range of accommodations to suit every budget, from fully self-contained cabins and villas to spacious powered and unpowered sites in a naturally shaded environment.
