Walking the Flinders Ranges - Guided Bushwalks
Discover the best of the Flinders Ranges on a fully guided three or five-day walking adventure based at Rawnsley Park Station. Led by experienced local guide and bushwalking author, Kym Tilbrook, these tours showcase the region's remarkable landscapes, rich history, diverse wildlife and ancient geology.
Walk through spectacular gorges, along sections of the iconic Heysen Trail, and beneath the towering sandstone walls of Wilpena Pound (Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park). Explore a landscape shaped over hundreds of millions of years, where rugged mountain ranges, creek beds lined with river red gums, historic pastoral ruins and abundant native wildlife combine to create an unforgettable walking experience.
The five-day tour includes the rewarding climb to the summit of Rawnsley Bluff, offering breathtaking views across Wilpena Pound and the surrounding ranges. Both tours also feature Rawnsley's signature Heli-Camping Experience, with a helicopter flight to the remote Chace Range, sunset drinks, a campfire dinner, a night spent beneath the stars in a luxury swag, and a scenic walk back to Rawnsley Park the following day.
Accommodation is provided in comfortable self-contained holiday units, with the option to upgrade to a luxury Classic Eco-Villa. After each day's walk, relax and enjoy the hospitality and regional flavours of the award-winning Woolshed Restaurant.
Designed for a range of fitness levels, these tours offer an immersive and memorable way to experience the Flinders Ranges.
