Conway Beach

Conway Beach is located on the southern Whitsunday Coast, approximately 35 minutes drive from Airlie Beach and Proserpine. A small hamlet, along with Wilsons Beach, Conway Beach is a popular spot for fishing and wind-powered sports such as kite surfing and land kiting.

The two kilometre sandy stretch of Conway Beach is situated at the mouth of the Proserpine River, an excellent location for fishing and crabbing. Mudcrabs, barramundi and prawns are common catches in the Conway Beach area, as are king and blue salmon, grunter, whiting, flathead and bream.
