Crowdy Beach - South
Nature & Parks
A short ten minute drive from Harrington is historic Crowdy Head. The seaside village comprises of both a North and a South beach.
South Beach is very popular with surfers and body boarders chasing the ‘big’ waves. A glorious stretch of golden sand, it is perfect for running, walking and fishing. The beach is not patrolled and has strong surf and rips. Picnic tables line the rocky outlook to the Pacific Ocean. Turn right before you hit the Crowdy Head Boat Ramps and you will find this piece of paradise at the end of the dirt road.
4WD access is available at multiple locations along Crowdy Head Road but remember to pick up a permit before you start making tracks from the local Bait & Tackle store in Beach St, Harrington.
