Just a short ferry ride from the CBD, Perth Zoo is home to more than 1300 exotic and native animals.
Plan your day around the series of free Keeper Talks to see your favourite animals including Sumatran Orangutans, Little Penguins, Meerkats and many more.

Plus, Perth Zoo is the only zoo in the world where you can see one of Australia’s most unique species – the Numbat! This adorable stripey marsupial is one of WA’s animal icons.

Or take your visit to the neck level by adding a Giraffe Encounter. For a fee, climb the tower and come eye-to-eye with some of Perth Zoo’s most gentle giants and if you’re lucky, you may even get the opportunity to feed.

Grumbling tummies will be satisfied at the brand-new café right in the heart of the Zoo! Families can grab a bite to eat on the deck while watching the kids play in the new and accessible playground, which includes an impressive three-metre-tall climbable Numbat.

Perth Zoo is proudly accessible and inclusive and welcomes all visitors who want to enjoy a zoo-per day out while helping their mission to save wildlife.
