Changes & cancellations
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled arrival date will incur charges for the entire stay. Once checked in, there is a strict no-refund policy for any booking alterations. By making a reservation with BIG4 Porepunkah Holiday Park, you acknowledge and agree to abide by all our terms and conditions.
- A $50 cancellation fee applies to all cancelled bookings.
- Cancellations for stays during Peak times (school/public holidays, special events, Easter and Christmas) must be made more than 60 days prior to arrival.
- Bookings made outside the 30 days have the option to reschedule their dates. However, if your booking falls within the 30 days, rescheduling is not possible. For bookings that have already been rescheduled once, the standard terms and conditions do not apply. If you choose to cancel or reschedule, you will forfeit the booking.

Pets Welcome at Porepunkah Holiday Park
We’re excited to now welcome well-behaved dogs on sites at BIG4 Porepunkah Holiday Park (outside of peak periods)! To help everyone enjoy their stay—two-legged and four-legged guests alike—we kindly ask that pet owners follow a few simple guidelines:
- Leads, please: Pets must be on a lead no longer than 2 metres at all times while in the park.
- Sites only: Pets are welcome on sites, but not inside cabins or villa accommodation.
- No solo adventures: Pets must always be supervised and never left unattended, whether in your van, tent, or public areas.
- Clean-up crew: Please clean up after your pet and use the waste bags and bins provided.
- Shared spaces are off-limits: Pets are not permitted in park facilities like the pool, amenities, playground, or games room.
- Peaceful park vibes: Barking, whining, or aggressive behaviour won’t be tolerated. If your pet is disruptive, you may be asked to make alternate arrangements.
- Peak periods: Unfortunately, pets aren’t permitted during peak periods (school holidays, public holiday weekends). Please check with us to confirm dates.
- Owner responsibility: Pet owners are responsible for any damage or incidents caused by their pets during their stay.
Guide and Assistance Dogs are always welcome and exempt from these rules.

Deposits & payments
- A 50% deposit is required when making a booking, with the full balance due 30 days before arrival (except for peak periods - being 60days). It is essential to ensure sufficient funds are available on the debit/credit card provided during the initial booking. Failure to deduct the remaining balance may result in automatic reservation cancellation. For all peak periods, all fees must be paid in full 60 days before arrival, and online booking payment terms are displayed. Once a booking is paid in full, there are no refunds or credits for decreasing the number of nights or visitors.
- All third-party bookings must provide a bond or damage deposit of up to $500. This amount will be returned to the same account on the day of departure if the accommodation is left undamaged, without excessive cleaning required, and in a respectable condition. Failure to provide bond or damage deposit details before arrival may result in the withdrawal of the guest’s booking.
- A credit card must be produced in the name of the person staying at the Park on check-in.
- All visitors to the park are to report to reception on arrival and pay the appropriate visitors' fee.

- A minimum stay period applies during Peak times, School Holidays, Public Holidays and Special Events.
- Extra Person Charges per night - 3 years and older
- There is no charge for infants under 3 years.

- Any additional cleaning or expenses incurred by BIG4 Porepunkah Holiday Park due to guests’ failure to maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene, including rubbish removal, and cleaning of dishes, and cookware, will be charged accordingly. The amount charged per cabin is at the discretion of management. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

- Late arrivals: Guests arriving outside office hours are requested to contact the park during reception hours to make alternate arrangements.

- Extra Person Charges: Apply to persons 3 years and over. There is no charge for infants under 3 years.
- Check In / Out: Guests are welcome to check in from 2pm. Check out time is 10am. Early check in and Late check outs may be arranged where available. Availability is not guaranteed. Tariffs may change with no prior warning.
- We reserve the right to evict guests from the park who are deemed by management to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way; causing damage; disturbing other guests; using unacceptable language or otherwise breaking Park Rules. No refund will be given, and charges will apply for any damage caused.
- Cabins & Site Allocation: Site and villa allocations are determined on the day of arrival. We cannot guarantee proximity to friends or family members also staying in the caravan park. All requests are subject to availability and change. We recommend reviewing the Site Allocation Fee policy. We can reserve a specific cabin or site for a fee of $10.00 per night for cabins/villas and $5.00 per night for sites.
- Bunk Beds Safety: To ensure safety in compliance with Australian Standards AS/NZS 4220:2003, we prohibit children under the age of 9 from using the top bunk, and they must not play on the top bunk.
- Bedding and Towels: We provide bedding, bath towels, and all necessary linens, including sheets, blankets, pillows, and pillowcases for all beds in our accommodations.

- Fires & Fire drums must be placed in a designated area and not on or near a common walkway that could lead to trip hazards at night.
- Fire drum must be up off the ground. (on legs or bricks)
- A clearing of 3 mts of all debris and flammable items must be around fire drum at all times.
- Flames of fire are not to be deemed as an extreme height above rim of drum. Example - Not a bon fire, no large logs to be protruding above rim of drum.
- A person aged 18+ is to be designated and be responsible for extinguishing the fire before 11pm.
- No fire is to be left unattended at any time.
- Please dispose of Ash in designated drums that are marked and located throughout the park. Any wood that is not provided by staff must be removed and either taken with you or returned to where it came from.
- Fire must be extinguished with water before departure.
- Hired Fire drums will be removed from your site by staff when safe to do so.
- No Fires if wind speed is 10 km’s or above (leaves or twigs moving in constant motion)
- Please ensure to adhere to these rules for your safety and other guests at the park. Thank You.

BIG4 Holiday Parks facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual owner of this BIG4 Member Park and therefore BIG4 Holiday Parks will not accept any claims for refunds or credits.
