Overview

Our House on the Hill currently sleeps up to 12 persons. The House on the Hill is located on the Hill just above the entrance to the park. It is perfect for families, friends or weddings and has everything you need for a quality getaway.

A great spot, the position is second to none. Located close to the Café, the beach, and the Hotel - and let’s not forget the views which are amazing!

Well-appointed with fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, dining and lounge area as well as a fantastic deck with outdoor setting for dining with spectacular views! 
The master bedroom has a king size bed, private ensuite and walk-in robe, all linen and towels are provided and there is a laundry for your convenience. Second bedroom has 2x double beds and 2x single beds. Third bedroom has 1x queen bed.
An additional fully self-contained separate unit with king size bed, Kitchenette and full ensuite is included.

The House on the Hill is a large 3500m2 bush/beach property with its own private easy access but remains part of the Park and has full access to all of BIG4 Wye River Holiday Park facilities and activities. 
Large grass open areas overlooking the beach, outdoor entertaining area with open fire, and....for the coffee lovers don't forget the sensational Cafe located right at the entrance to the park!

From 12pm for Campsites & From 2pm for Cabins. If arriving after 6:30pm please contact reception.

Check out

10am on day of departure. Late check outs can be arranged - a fee may apply.

Reception hours

8:30am - 6:30pm 7 days a week. Guests arriving outside these times must contact the park reception during office hours to make alternate arrangements.

Changes & cancellations

CHRISTMAS (From 26th Dec) & JANUARY PEAK POLICY

Changes and Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable deposit of 1 night's tariff is required to confirm bookings. Deposit transferable to a later date if cancelled before 1st August. 50% of the total is due by 1st August. 100% of total is due by 1st November.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: No refunds of initial deposit and no refunds if sites/cabins are cancelled for non-payment of total amount as requested. 50% payment refundable, minus initial deposit, if cancelled before 1st November. No refunds after the 1st November.

Minimum night stays (booking blocks) apply, upon check-in no refunds will be given to altered bookings.
NON-PAYMENT BY DUE DATE WILL RESULT IN CANCELLATION

PEAK - LABOUR DAY WEEKEND / EASTER WEEKEND/ ANZAC WEEKEND/ KINGS BIRTHDAY WEEKEND/ MELBOURNE CUP WEEKEND / AFL GRAND FINAL WEEKEND / SEPTEMBER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS / OCTOBER WEEKENDS / NOVEMBER WEEKENDS / DECEMBER 1st - 25th / FEBRUARY WEEKENDS / MARCH WEEKENDS / APRIL WEEKENDS

Full amount is due 30 days prior to arrival. Deposit transferable to a later date if cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival.

OFF PEAK - SHOULDER

Changes and Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable deposit of 1 night's tariff is required to confirm all bookings. Deposit transferable to a later date if cancelled more than 14 days prior to arrival. Full amount of booking to be paid prior to or on arrival.

Pets

With the exception of medically certified guide dogs, pets are not permitted.

Deposits & payments

A non-refundable deposit equivalent to the first nights’ tariff is required at the time of booking.

What you need to know

Special requests are on request basis only and are not guaranteed at the time of booking. Please contact the Park for confirmation. A credit card must be produced in the name of the person staying at the Park on check in. Any damage caused may be charged against that card. Various minimum night stays apply throughout the year. Adult’s rates apply to persons above 16 years. Children rates apply to guests aged 2 to 15 years. There is no charge for children under the age of 2 years. Australian Standards relate to the use of bunk beds and state that: "Children under the age of 9 years are not permitted to use the top bunk. Children must not play on top bunk." Please take this into consideration when making your booking.

We reserve the right to refuse a booking at any time from any person reasonably believed to:
• Not be the person named on the booking request
• Not be the person named on the credit card or not be authorised to use the card
• Not be able to pay for any charges
• May cause damage to the property of the Park or other guests
• May exhibit socially unacceptable behaviour
• Be younger than 18 years and not accompanied by a responsible person over that age
• Be concealing a dog or other unauthorised animal.

We reserve the right to eject guests from the park who are deemed by management to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way; causing damage; disturbing other guests; using unacceptable language or otherwise breaking Park Rules. No refund will be given and charges will apply for any damage caused.
