• Koalas: A regular sight, often seen lounging in the eucalyptus trees, offering guests an up-close encounter with these iconic Australian animals in their natural habitat.
• Eastern Grey Kangaroos: Seen at dawn and dusk, grazing peacefully in the open fields around Cape Otway and Bimbi Park, offering a magical wildlife experience in their native habitat.
• Common Brushtail Possum: At night, they emerge from the trees at Bimbi Park, often seen sneaking around and scavenging for fruit or anything edible, adding a playful touch to the nocturnal wildlife experience.
• Common Ringtail Possum: Though less common than the Brushtail, can occasionally be spotted at Bimbi Park, emerging at night to navigate the treetops and forage for leaves and fruit.
• Black Swamp Wallabies: Often spotted on the roads leading to Bimbi Park, a shy and solitary marsupial with a distinctive dark coat and a bushy tail, it thrives in the lush, native environment of Cape Otway.
• Echidnas: Rarely seen, but we have a family under the Bimbi Park camp kitchen, you also see them crossing the roads in Cape Otway. Their spiky, egg-shaped bodies and unique burrowing habits make them a fascinating, hidden gem of the local Cape Otway wildlife.
• Blue-tongue Lizards: Often seen crossing the roads on hot days around Cape Otway and Bimbi Park, They have a vibrant blue tongue and leathery-looking stocky bodies, a real treat. But they may bite if handled.
• Otway Black Snail: Found only in the rainforests of the Otway Ranges, They are glossy black and are carnivorous. After rain go to Maits Rest and see if you can spot one.
• Eastern Pygmy Possum: About the size of a small mouse and one of the world’s smallest possums. Found in the bush block at Bimbi Park, tthey nest in tree hollows or under loose bark, and play a crucial role as pollinators, transferring pollen between flowers while feeding on nectar. Hard to spot but a treat. 
• Sugar Gliders – Yellow Bellied: Sugar gliders, are in and around Bimbi Park, they are small, nocturnal marsupials known for their ability to glide gracefully between trees and their sweet, high-pitched call. Rare to see but magnificent.
• Antechinus: The Swamp Antechinus, commonly seen at Bimbi Park, is a small, lively marsupial known for its quick, darting movements and distinctive, high-pitched calls as it scurries through the bushland
• White-footed Dunnart: A small and elusive marsupial found around Bimbi Park, is distinguished by its white feet and tail, and is known for its quick, agile movements and insect diet.
• Southern brown bandicoots: Southern Brown Bandicoots, found around Bimbi Park, are nocturnal marsupials with a distinctive long snout and powerful limbs, known for their burrowing habits and foraging through the leaf litter in search of insects and small invertebrates.
• Grass Skinks: Grass skinks, found around Bimbi Park, are small, agile reptiles with smooth, greenish-brown skin that blend seamlessly into their grassy and forested surroundings as they dart through the undergrowth.
