East Gippsland Art Gallery is proud to host Fibre Arts Australia's Third International Art Textile Biennale, a vibrant showcase of innovative artworks by 39 artists representing 10 countries.
“The works in this Biennale challenge conventional ideas, revealing surprising connections between textiles and other artistic disciplines. As textile art continues to evolve, it offers a vibrant and diverse landscape for both artists and audiences to explore.” said Fibre Arts Australia founder Glenys Mann.
Fibre Arts Australia and its founder, Glenys Mann are committed to developing this significant award, and an original vision that art textile practitioners continue to expand, grow and inspire.
The Third International Art Textile Biennale, will be launched in Bairnsdale on Friday 31 January and then it will travel throughout Australian Regional Galleries for a season of 20 months.
