On Sunday, 15 June Sound in Space #2 features Slime Moulds and Mountain Harp

Slime Moulds & Mountain Harp will immerse you in a spectacular musical and visual experience of mysterious and beautiful creatures and creations. The planetarium dome will feature Sarah Lloyd’s exquisite macro-and micro-photography of Tasmanian slime moulds in all their remarkable life stages as the music emerges from the extensive colours and effects of Garry Greenwood’s elegant 18-string Tasmanian Mountain Harp. Alien-like, but actually Tasmanian home-grown.

Karlin Love and Suzy Turner will play the Mountain Harp and compatible instruments such as electric violin, clarinet, and gongs. Sarah Lloyd will introduce the wonders of slime moulds and provide some clues about what we’ll be seeing.
