Well-suited to a family with small children, these cabins sleep up to 6 people and include a queen bed in the main bedroom and two sets of single bunks in the second bedroom. Offering a spacious lounge and dining area, there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax around the TV after a big day by the beach.
These cabins are also located in the main area of the park, so you can conveniently walk to the swimming pool, camp kitchen and even beachfront.

Changes & cancellations
Booking Policy
All reservations require a bond (deposit) to be paid at the time of the reservation. Without a bond, we are unable to make you a reservation. The minimum bond payable is equal to one night’s tariff. Any changes to reservations or cancellations will incur an administration fee of $39.00.
All cancellations must be made directly with the park in writing. Upon cancellation, monies paid can be credited to a client account for future stays. Any money transferred for future stays at the parks will only be valid for 12 months from the original reservation date. No credit or refund will be available for early departures or cancellations once arrived. A credit cannot be exchanged for a refund.
Off-peak periods
Cabins
Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to the reservation date, will receive a refund of monies paid minus an administration fee. Cancellations made within 14 days from the reservation surrender the bond (one night's tariff). Any remaining monies can be refunded or applied to a client account. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation, surrender all monies paid.
Sites
Cancellations received more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full credit or refund. Cancellations received within 48 hours of the reservation will surrender all monies paid.
Peak periods
Cabins & Sites
Full payment may be required by a designated date; this will be supplied upon the reservation (approx. 30 days for peak and selected peak periods). Cancellations made before the designated full payment date will receive a refund of all monies paid minus an administration fee. Cancellations made after the designated full payment date surrender all monies paid.
Pets
BIG4 Port Hughes is a dog-friendly holiday park and allows dogs most of the year, excluding Christmas/New Years peak period and the Easter Long Weekend. We offer multiple accommodation options available to book so you can bring your favourite pet with you for your next stay. To ensure that you enjoy your stay with all of our other guests, we must ensure that all dog owners take full responsibility for their pet and ensure they do not disturb other guests when on the property. Deposits & payments
What you need to know
Vehicles
We permit one vehicle per accommodation reservation, and one vehicle and one caravan, camper trailer or tent per site reservation.
If you would like to bring any other vehicles, or personal leisure equipment (e.g. boats, jet skis, motorbikes etc.), this is at the discretion of the Customer Service Team and must be approved prior to your arrival. Approved additional vehicles may attract a fee. Additional vehicles will not be approved during peak periods.
All additional vehicles and personal leisure equipment must be contained within your reserved site or allocated parking space.
Important Information
- Please keep your site tidy and use the facilities provided for washing clothes, drying clothes, discharge of sullage water and rubbish disposal. Everyone appreciates a well-kept site, so please remember that we do not allow trenches to be dug in the park, under any circumstances
- Misuse of the boom gates (this includes allowing other vehicles, other than your own into the park) and amenities block security pin pads will result in eviction from the park. No refund will apply
- In the interests of all guests enjoying their stay, we ask that excessive noise is ceased by 10pm.
- Designated paths and roads are to be used at all times when walking around the park.
- Open fires are not permitted in the park.
- We have many trees in our park that drop branches and debris. Staff are continually pruning to reduce the problem. Major contract pruning is also carried out twice yearly to further reduce the risk. We cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for personal injury or damage to personal property from falling branches or debris.
- New arrivals and guests must report before entry to the park
- In the interest of safety, the speed limit throughout the park is a walking pace only
- We consider ourselves a family-friendly park where bicycles are permitted. However, it is essential that helmets are worn at all times. For safety reasons, no bicycles are to be ridden after dark
- Guests in the park who are deemed by management to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way, causing damage, disturbing other guests, using unacceptable language or not adhering to park guidelines will be asked to vacate the premises immediately. No refund will be given and charges will apply for any damage caused.
- Prices subject to change without notice
- Late checkout is offered and applies to off-peak, site bookings only and is subject to availability, for a small fee. This gives you until 5pm to checkout.
- We require a minimum stay over holiday periods
Smoking
- Smoking of tobacco products and e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited by State/Territory law;
- Inside any enclosed buildings within the park. This includes, but is not limited to cabins, amenity blocks, camp kitchens, and reception buildings.
- Within 5 metres of any entrance or exit of buildings. This includes cabin balconies.
- Within 10 metres of a children’s playground or any other recreational facilities.
Please note: Failure to comply with our smoking policy will result in a $250 fee being charged to your credit card or forfeiture of your cash deposit. You may also be subject to penalties or fines as set out by State/Territory Law.
Damages and Theft
Guests are personally liable for the payment of the account and if the person, company, or association indicated by the guest as being responsible for the account does not do so, the liability of the payment will be joint and several. Any charges for guest services and for damage to park property, not already billed at the time of departure, may be added to the account for settlement or charged to the same credit card used to pay the account. An invoice will be sent for any outstanding monies notifying guests of all charges.
A credit or debit card will be required on check-in as a bond for the stay. If a credit or debit card is unavailable, guests may provide a $100 bond in cash that will be returned upon departure.
