- Lure fishing: Hard body lures, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics are popular for natives like Golden Perch and Murray Cod.
- Targeting structure: Native fish often hide around submerged logs, fallen trees, and deeper holes.
- Time of day: Sunrise and sunset are often prime times for native species like Murray Cod and Golden Perch.
Important Fishing Regulations:
It's crucial to be aware of and adhere to South Australia's recreational fishing regulations to ensure sustainable fishing practices. Key regulations to remember:

From August 1st to December 31st, it is prohibited to target Murray Cod. Always check the latest regulations from PIRSA (Primary Industries and Regions South Australia) as rules can change.
