Top Didj Art Gallery
Galleries, Museums and Collections
Top Didj Art Gallery is seven kilometres from Katherine and 22 kilometres from Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge). Top Didj showcases an extensive range of authentic Aboriginal artworks from over 250 artists from regions of the Top End, Arnhem Land, Kimberley, Central and Western Desert. This includes art, didgeridoos, artifacts, and a gift shop.
Established in 1997 in Katherine, Northern Territory, our collection reflects the cultural diversity of indigenous Australia.
Top Didj is strongly committed to nurturing and supporting both established artists and emerging talent while ethically promoting Aboriginal art. Our commitment to continuously evolve our business, working closely with Aboriginal artists and their families over the last 28 years, shines through in the quality of our works.
Our new bush tucker/medicine garden gives guests the opportunity to take a self-guided walk through nature whilst learning of the traditional uses of plants in food, medicine, arts and crafts. Artists in residence are also regularly in the gallery and available for visitors to meet, ask questions and see artworks in progress.
Top Didj also has a shaded BBQ/lunch area that guests may use.
