Durras Beach

Divided into two parts due to the mouth of Durras Lake, Durras Beach is a long wide stretch of sand that is good for surfing, swimming, fishing and long walks. The Southern part of the beach is known by locals as Durras Beach or Main Beach, while the northern end is known as North Durras Beach.

The beach is open to both southerly and north-easterly swells which provides a consistent surf, but it can also be dangerous at times. Supervision of children is paramount.
