Banjo’s Flat is the perfect alpine retreat for families, friends, or couples looking to explore the stunning Snowy Mountains. Comfortably sleeping up to 7 guests, this spacious suite features two generously sized bedrooms—each with its own private ensuite—plus an open plan kitchen, dining, and living area with a cosy wood fireplace and modern comforts throughout.

You’ll enjoy the convenience of a full kitchen with a coffee machine, microwave, and fridge, plus a washer/dryer, dining area, TV, and split system air conditioning. With thoughtful extras like a fireplace and free Wi-Fi, Banjo’s Flat offers a welcoming home base after a day of adventure.

Please note:
Linen is provided for Bedroom 1. Linen not included for Bedroom 2 (bunk beds).
Linen hire is available: $35 per single pack or $45 per double pack (includes sheets, pillowcase, doona, and towel), or you’re welcome to bring your own. All beds are supplied with a mattress protector.

Changes & cancellations

A booking pursuant to an accepted Offer may be cancelled upon the following terms:

(a) notice of the cancellation must be given by the Applicant in writing and the receipt of the notice of cancellation must be acknowledged by the Centre in writing;

(b) if the cancellation is effected:

(i) 30 days or more prior to the "Date In" the Deposit will be refunded (less an administration fee of $50), and

(ii) between 30 and 14 days 50% refund.

Should the cancellation occur within 14 days of the "Date In", no refund will be provided. For more information contact the site manager.

Pets

Pets are welcome on designated campsites only and are not permitted in any accommodation. They must be kept on a leash at all times, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them and for any damage caused.

All pet stays are subject to approval and are ultimately at the discretion of the Park Manager. Please contact our office prior to arrival if you have any questions or special requests regarding your pet.

Deposits & payments

To secure your booking, a deposit equivalent to the first night's stay is required. Bookings are only confirmed once this deposit has been received.

During peak season (30th June – 30th September)full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Failure to make payment by this deadline may result in the cancellation of your booking.

What you need to know

Smoking/Alcohol – This facility is a non-smoking, non-vapour and alcohol free site. No illegal drugs or alcohol may be brought onto the Site. Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted within any building or the grounds of the Site. Penalties may apply for non-compliance.

Lost & Found – The Housekeeping Department retains lost property for 1 month. After this time, it is donated to charities. Please make sure that you check your room carefully before your departure to ensure that you have taken all your belongings. We are more than happy to return lost property to you and charge your credit card for the postage only. 

Damages - All persons must respect the buildings and equipment on the Site. Breakages and damages must be reported to the Staff immediately. All such breakage or damage must be paid for.

Parking – Vehicles, boats, trailers and campers.

Each type of apartment is permitted the following number of spaces for cars, trailers, boats or campers. If you have additional vehicles, please see Reception regarding where to park them. 

Chalets, Lodge Units, Staff Flats, Cooks Flat, Horizon Q, Garden Flat – 1 space 

ALL VEHICLES MUST BE PARKED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GREY PAVING AND CANNOT PROTRUDE INTO WALKWAYS OR DRIVEWAYS 

Campfires – Campfires are permitted only within the designated campfire pits provided. All fire bans must be strictly observed. 

Farm Animals – We are fortunate to have a variety of friendly farm animals on-site. They are fenced in at all times for your safety and their safety. You are welcome to say hello at any time, however please use due diligence and care and do not enter their premises. Please do not feed the animals. Please ensure children are supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. 

WASHING FACILITIES 

Self Contained Chalets - Drying room and ski locker provided.

Lodge Units, Staff Flats & Horizon Q - Shared drying room provided - location marked on map.

We also have 3 x coin operated Guest Laundries – the machines (washer and dryer) each take 3 x $1.00 coins per load. The locations are marked on your map. Instructions on how to use the washer and dryer are posted inside the guest laundries. If you require assistance, please contact Reception. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking

1. The acceptance of any Offer may only be effected before the Last Acceptance Date and will only be effected when: (a) the Applicant's signed written acceptance is received by The Centre along with the deposit amount, as stated on the Booking Offer; and (b) the receipt of the Applicant's acceptance is acknowledged by The Centre in writing or by email to the Applicant's email address set out above.

Cancellations

General Conditions

4. This facility is a non-smoking, non-vapour and alcohol free site.

5. The maximum Lodge Unit Capacity is 12 persons, the maximum Chalet Capacity is 9 persons

6. Weekends are Friday and Saturday nights inclusive, long weekends are from Friday 2pm to Monday 10am.

7. Children 4 years and under are free, unless part of the minimum charge.

8. One night accommodation (weekdays only) is subject to availability one week prior to “Date In”.

9. Cooking in the Lodge units is prohibited; there is a self-cater kitchen available at the end of the lodge for general use.

10. Bookings are only confirmed when the deposit has been paid by the applicant.

11. Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.

12. A Group must be properly supervised. The Applicant and the Applicant's Representative are responsible for the conduct, safety and welfare of all of the Benefited.

Persons and are responsible for ensuring that all of the requirements of The Centre are observed.

13. The Applicant's Representative and the Benefited Persons must comply all reasonable directions of the Staff.

14. The Applicant's Representative must make contact with the Staff immediately upon arrival at the Designated Sections. No member of any Group may take up residence until authorised to do so by the Staff.

15. As the Centre is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church (South New South Wales), which is a Christian church, activities which are inconsistent with the Christian faith or Judeo Christian values are not permitted on the Site and the Benefited Persons must not promote religious beliefs or practices which are inconsistent with the Mission Statement of the Centre or the Christian faith or Christian practices, nor engage in any practices or activities which are likely to injure the religious susceptibilities of members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (South New South Wales).

16. No illegal drugs or alcohol may be brought onto the Site.

17. The Site is a Smoke Free Environment. Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted within any building or the grounds of the Site.

18. The Applicant must notify The Centre of the number of persons who will comprise the Group not less than 7 days prior to the Date In.

19. The Applicant is liable to pay the Booking Charge which is the amount calculated as follows:

(a) if the number of persons who comprise the Group meets or exceeds the Minimum Number of Persons, as stated on the Booking Offer ("The Minimum Number"), the Booking Charge is the total of the price payable for each person in the Group where the price payable for each person is:

(i) the price per day, for the category into which the person falls as set out in the Centre's price list applicable at that date which is 98 days before the Date In, for each person, multiplied by:

(ii) the number of days in the Hire Period, plus that amount equal to:D x (E x F) where:

D=the difference between the number of people who comprise the Group and The Minimum Number;

E=the adult rate as published in The Centre's price list applicable at the date which is 98 days before the Date In; and

F=the number of days in the Hire Period.

20. In these Conditions of Hire a day means any period of 24 hours or part thereof. (For example, a hire period of 33 hours constitutes a hire period of 2 days)

21. All persons on the Site must respect reasonable noise constraints while on the Site. After 10:30pm noise must be kept to a minimum to avoid any inconvenience, or nuisance, being caused to other persons.

22. Pets are not permitted to be brought on to the Site without prior consent of the site manager.

23. No Fire may be lit on the Site without the prior consent of the Staff and local fire authorities.

43. The Site is an environmentally friendly facility. Flora and Fauna may be appreciated but must not be disturbed. The natural beauty of the Site must be preserved for all to enjoy.

25. All persons must respect the buildings and equipment on the Site. Breakages and damages must be reported to the Staff immediately. All such breakage or damage must be paid for.

26. The Centre may, in its discretion, require payment, of up to 50% of the amount which will (on the basis of the Agreement) be payable, to be made prior to the "In Date".

27. All monies relating to the Agreement, which have not been paid by the "Date Out", must be paid within 10 days of the Date Out.

28. Menus and Non-Standard meal arrangements may be organised upon written request. (An additional charge may be incurred).

29. No bedding may be removed from rooms. The Centre may charge The Applicant additional fees as compensation for damaged or unduly soiled bedding.

30. No person may interfere with any Fire-Equipment and/or alarms.

31. The Site is to be left clean and tidy and as instructed by the Staff.

32. The Centre will not be responsible for, or have any liability arising out of, the preparation or delivery of meals, whether prepared on the Site or otherwise provided by caterers not employed or associated with The Centre to the Group at the Site. Unless the Booking Offer indicates the Offer is on a "Catered" basis meals will not be provided by The Centre as part of the booking.

33. All bedrooms must be vacated by 10 am on the "Date Out". Requests and authorisation for late check-out must be in writing, a minimum of 7 days prior to the "Date In" and may incur additional charges.

34. The Centre retains the right to require any Group or any of the Benefited Persons to leave the Site in the event of any behaviour or conduct which is illegal, offensive, inappropriate, or constitutes a nuisance to other persons on the Site.
