Event Details

The Fun Run / Walk - 6kms

Participants head up towards O'Sullivan's Gap (3km's) then turn about and come back down again once they get there.

To participate in the fun run/walk first park in town at the Bulahdelah Showground (Prince St, Bulahdelah) then jump on a shuttle bus which will take you to the start and bring you back from the finish.

If you are staying in town or close by then you can walk to the showground. Register at the showground before getting on the bus and collect your bib and timing chip. Registration can commence from 0630am.

When your bus arrives at the start line you will be flagged way as soon as registrations are confirmed. Timings for bus departures will be finalised closer to the day so check the website.

The fun run/walk is open to all ages over 7 years. There will be a drink point at the half way mark and drinks and snacks available at the finish. The fun run/walk is not a race, how hard you go is entirely up to you but do enjoy the fabulous surroundings!

A certificate of completion will be emailed to you after the event if you would like one. Check with the officials at registration.

Once you have returned to the showground it's a short walk/drive to town for a rewarding coffee, cake or treat! Everyone who enters the fun run/walk will go into the draw for a range of prizes including gift packs and gift certificates.

The presentation of prizes will be at 11.45am at the BIG4 River Myall Holiday Resort in Bulahdelah.

O'Sullivan's Challenge - 9kms

O'Sullivan's Challenge is a steady climb up, over and through O'Sulivan's Gap on the spectacular Wootton Way. To kick off everyone parks in town at the Bulahdelah Showground (Prince St, Bulahdelah) to catch a shuttle bus to the start and then back from the finish. If you are staying in town or close by then you can walk to the showground.

Register at the showground before getting on the bus and collect your bib and timing chip. Registration can commence from 0630am. As buses arrive at the start line participants will be flagged away as soon as registrations are confirmed. Buses will return participants to the showground after the run. Timings for bus departures will be finalised closer to the day so check the website.

This run is open to all ages over 14 years. Drinks, snacks and a piece of fruit will be available at the finish line. The presentation of prizes will be at 11.45am at the BIG4 River Myall Holiday Resort in Bulahdelah.

Prizes

• First Prize: The fastest man and woman in the 9km O'Sullivan's Challenge will win a fabulous weekend for two at the Big 4 River Myall Holiday Resort.
• Second Prize: Second place will receive a $100 gift voucher to be spent at any business in Bulahdelah.
• Third Prize: Third place will receive a gift hamper made up of local produce.

More Information

Your race bib and timing chip will be available from Registration at the showground before getting on the bus. Registration can commence from 0630am.

Your fee includes entry into the event, bus travel to and from the start and finish lines and a fruit snack at the finish.

Terms & Conditions of Entry

• The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event without notice should they consider this necessary for safety reasons.
• Each competitor will compete on the approved course as directed, will not accept outside assistance and will accept the organisers’ decision as final.
• The organisers reserve the right to reject or cancel any entry at any time.
• No refunds of entry fees
• No obstruction is to be caused to the movement of vehicular traffic.
• Supporters are not allowed on the race route or to park cars at the start or finish.
• The only vehicles permitted on the run course during the event are Police/Emergency Service vehicles and Official cars.
• The organisers reserve the right to alter without notice any of the Race Rules which govern the event.
• In the event of a tie, the tied competitors will be placed in ascending order of their race numbers.
• No dogs permitted to accompany runners.
• By completing the registration, you are deemed to have read and understood the Terms and Conditions
• Photos taken for the event, including participants, are being used for the purpose of display in the gallery of the website. There will be no other use of the photos apart from the gallery.
