Koala Museum
The Koala Hospital welcomes over 100,000 visitors each year. They provide treatment and care for sick and injured koalas and other wildlife and operate a 24/7 rescue line.

The Port Macquarie region has one of the largest koala populations in the country, and this was the first dedicated Koala Hospital in Australia!

At the Koala Hospital, you can take a guided (or self-guided) tour of the koala yards, see koalas being cared for and treated in the clinic, and learn how to care for and conserve wildlife.

The whole family will love the interactive educational exhibits, and the fascinating ‘Koalaseum’.

There is a guide-led tour every day at 3 pm. Your ticket is valid for the whole day so you can come and go as many times as you please!
