Want to find out about the universe? Come to their Open Nights at the Historical Court House in town, held on Friday evenings (& Sundays during holidays). Open Nights are currently held at the CWA while their new Astronomy Science Centre is being built at Rotary Park.

Club members present on a range of exciting topics, and you can explore through their telescope spectacular astronomical phenomena. Get closer to the moon, Saturn or Jupiter. You might even see a nebula!

Entertaining presentations cover various astronomical topics for you to discover your place in the expansive universe. Following the presentation, observe an astronomical object(s) through their mobile telescope (weather permitting).

The presentation goes for about 1 hour and is held regardless of weather. Come learn more about space and the cosmos!
