Pets
We'd love to welcome your furry best friends to our park!
At BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park we welcome well-behaved dogs on our caravan and camping sites, with a maximum of 2 dogs per site.
Your furry friend can also have a holiday pamper with our brand new dog wash facility available at the top Amenities block, with tokens are available for purchase from Reception, along with doggy treats!
We also have selected pet-friendly accommodation with fully-tiled floors (subject to availability).
Please do not book online if you are travelling with a dog, you must book by phone on 02 4997 5520 for management approval.
Terms and conditions do apply, please read below for our Pet Policy. The most up-to-date version of the policy will need to be signed upon check-in.
BIG4 Karuah Jetty Dog Policy
We love dogs as much as you do, to ensure the enjoyment of your stay, all guests must adhere to the following Dog Policy.
Dogs staying in accommodation: BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park requires guests to pay a $20 cleaning fee per villa per stay as well as following some simple rules that are listed below during your stay. We ask that you adhere to the following rules to allow the park to continue to allow dogs in our Sites and selected villas.
Dogs staying on caravan and camping sites: When you check in, let the front desk staff know you’ll have a dog on site. You’ll need to sign a copy of the Pet Policy Agreement below, and then you and your dog can make yourselves at home.
In addition to our rules you are also responsible for being in compliance with all local laws and regulations.
- We love all kinds of animals, but only domestic dogs are allowed to stay on sites and selected villa accommodation within our park.
- No more than two (2) dogs are allowed per site/villa.
- Be sure to keep your dog on a leash or in a carrier during your stay. Dogs are not permitted on lounges or in/on beds at any time in the villa accommodation.
- Dogs shall remain within your control at all times, either on a leash or in a carrier. Dogs are not permitted to be left alone on site at any time.
- If your pet is disturbing other guests/staff or causing damage, you will be required to depart the park without refund of your deposit or remaining accommodation
- With the exception of authorized service animals, dogs are not allowed in the common areas such as amenities, camp kitchen, pools, tennis or volleyball courts.
- Dogs are STRICTLY NOT PERMITTED at or on the Jetty and in the Karuah Waters Residential Estate.
- Dogs cannot be walked through the over 50’s residential village, they are only permitted to be walked within the holiday section (excluding the Jetty) or outside along Holdom Road.
- In consideration for other guests, please clean up after your pets, and keep them within your control at all times.
- We count on you to prevent your pet from making excessive noise, being disruptive or aggressive to other guests. If your pet is deemed dangerous, harmful or disruptive, hotel management has sole discretion to require you to find other accommodations. We also reserve the right to contact animal control to have a pet removed.
- If your site/Villa requires excessive cleaning, or if damages are incurred as a result of your pet’s actions, we reserve the right to charge for additional services and repairs.
- If at any time you require assistance or have any concerns/queries please contact staff immediately.
Deposits & payments
Below are the terms and conditions for Karuah Riverview Pty Ltd trading as BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park: Deposit of one night stay is due on booking to confirm, balances are due on arrival. Exception to Christmas school holidays, balances are due 14 days prior to arrival.
Fees
Additional Guest Fees: The rate is based on the first 2 people and additional persons are charged at the seasonal rate. Day visitors are permitted at a nominal fee from three years old and above. Please note, day visitors are subject to maximum guest capacity rule and a maximum vehicle capacity rule, which may require staff to decline entry by foot or by car.
What you need to know

Guests who fail to arrive on their arrival date will be classed as a 'no-show' and forfeit any funds paid, no credits or refunds permitted for a 'no-show' occurrence. Refunds: Refunds may take up to 10 business days to show on your account. Refunds can only be processed onto the original credit or debit card of the person who made the booking.
Below are the terms and conditions for Karuah Riverview Pty Ltd trading as BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park:
Phone booking deposits must be made by Visa or MasterCard, credit or debit card only. Special rates or deals may require full payment at time of booking.
Group bookings: A minimum of 10 bookings is required to qualify as a group booking, payment terms are advised at the time of confirmation.
Security codes expire at 10am on the day of departure, please ensure you have contacted office staff by 10am on your day of departure to extend your stay or request a late check-out where available. Failure to depart the park by designated check-out time will incur an additional night's fee at the full advertised rate, charged to their card.
Any special requests are welcome and will be actioned at the discretion of management, please note that all requests cannot be guaranteed.
A credit card must be produced in the name of the person staying at the park upon arrival as a security bond and any damages or excess cleaning costs caused by the guest/s will be charged to the card. Minimum night stays apply during peak holiday dates please refer to the rate conditions prior to making a reservation.

Guests who are travelling with medically certified dogs must pre-book their accommodation and provide an authority-issued certificate as evidence.
We reserve the right to refuse a booking at any time from any person reasonably believed to:
- Not be the person named on the booking request.
- Not be authorised to use the credit or debit card produced.
- Not be able to pay for any charges.
- May cause damage to the property or other guest property.
- May exhibit socially unacceptable behaviour.
- Be younger than 18 years old and not accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 25 years old.
- Be concealing an unauthorised animal.
We reserve the right to eject guests from the park who are deemed by management to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way; causing damage; disturbing other guests; using unacceptable language or otherwise breaking Park Rules. No refund will be given and charges will apply for any damage caused.
BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia Pty Ltd is not the owner of any particular BIG4 Holiday Park. BIG4 Holiday Parks facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual owner of this BIG4 Member Park and therefore BIG4 Holiday Parks will not accept any claims for refunds or credits.
