Overview

Each site features a power connection, concrete slab, freshwater tap, and grey water disposal. Need a drive-through site? Just ask – we can accommodate up to 20m!

Enjoy access to our amenities block, camp kitchen, BBQ area, and pool during your stay.

The handy BBQ area offers a sink, 2 BBQs, a gas pizza oven, kettle, toaster, and fridge. Our amenities block boasts ensuite-style individual cubicles with spacious walk-in showers, toilets, and basins, all accessible via key card.

The laundry room is equipped with washing machines and a dryer, operated with coins. Plus, your furry friends are welcome on sites!

Changes & cancellations

Unless a specific tariff states otherwise, standard cancellation terms are as below;

  • Peak Season – SITES & CABINS; 30+ days notice: Cancellation fee of $20 administration fee and 1 night's tariff  - Less than 30 days notice: Cancellation fee of total price of reservation – No refund of monies  
  • Off Peak Seasons - CABINS; 30+ days notice: Full refund - Less than 30 days notice: Cancellation fee includes $20 administration fee - Less than 20 days notice: Cancellation fee of $20 administration fee and 1 night's tariff  - Less than 10 days - No refund of monies
  • Off Peak Seasons - SITES; 30+ days notice: Full refund - Less than 30 days notice: Cancellation fee includes $20 administration fee - Less than 10 days notice: Cancellation fee includes of $20 administration fee and one nights tariff.

Failure to Notify
If you do not notify us of your cancellation or you do not arrive by 9am the day after your scheduled reservation, your booking will be cancelled without the refund of any monies paid

Early Departures
No refund will be paid if you decide to cut your reservation or holiday short

Pets

CABINS

  • Pets are charged $10 per pet / per night
  • We charge a pre-authorisation bond of $50.00 on a credit or debit card.
  • Pets are allowed inside of cabins however they are not allowed to be on any furniture or in carpeted bedrooms.
  • Additional charges apply if your animal destroys any furniture or puts hair throughout the cabin. A broom is available in all cabins.
  • Pets must have their own bed to sleep in.
  • Pets must not be left by themselves at your cabin.

SITES

  • Pets must be restrained at all times. 
  • Pets must not be left by themselves at your site.
  • When tethered/fenced at your site, pets must be kept within 1.25m of the site boundary.
  • Pets must not be taken into the amenities, laundry or BBQ area.

GENERAL

  • The office must be informed if you or your visitors have a pet.
  • It is your responsibility to secure your pet.
  • When walking through the park, pets must be on a lead and under control at all times.
  • Please keep dogs clear from our permanent residents’ homes and their gardens.
  • Owners must pick up after pets using a plastic bag and dispose of the tied bag in the bins provided throughout the park.
  • Pets are not allowed within the pool area, camp kitchen, games room, laundry and covered verandah area.
  • No washing of pet bedding in the laundry.
  • Pets must be up to date with flea and tick treatments.
  • Please respect your neighbours by keeping dog’s barking to a minimum
  • Aggressive behaviour by a pet will not be tolerated and result in you losing the privilege of having your pet stay in the park.


Deposits & payments

100% deposit taken upon reservation. We reserve the right to charge a pre-authorisation up to $50.00 on your credit card for cleaning fees in respect of cabin accommodation, if the unit is left in an unreasonable state OR our pet or non-smoking policy inside units is ignored. Any major breakages, damages or items removed from a unit will be invoiced separately and charged to your credit card.

Fees

Day visitors must pay a day fee if they intend to use any of the park's facilities (pool, BBQs etc). The day fee will be determined by the office staff in consultation with your visitors when your visitors register at the office.

What you need to know

  1. Final full payment for your stay, unless tariff terms dictate otherwise, are required on check-in
  2. A credit card pre-authorisation is required at time of check-in for all cabin stays
  3. Guests checking-in outside reception hours are requested to contact us with an estimated time of arrival and arrange final full payment and a credit card pre-authorisation if applicable to their booking
  4. Early check-ins / late checkouts are subject to availability within 24 hours of arrival/departure and may incur an extra charge
  5. We are a dog friendly park – all bookings must advise whether a dog will be accompanying them before arrival at our property, and agree to our Terms & Conditions for Travelling with Pets
  6. Additional costs – we reserve the right to debit your credit card or request payment in full for any outstanding charges that apply to your booking. This includes extra cleaning, excess rubbish removal, additional unpaid guests, extended stays, late checkouts, lost keys, item theft or repairs and damage to the property
  7. Guests are given a full copy of the park rules at check-in, all guests and their visitors are required to make themselves familiar with these
  8. All those entering BIG4 Colonial Holiday Park must comply with government and Public Health Order directions while on the premises
