The city’s most famous landmarks are well worth exploring. Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge for breathtaking views or take a tour of the famous Sydney Opera House.

Sydney Harbour is magnetising and getting out on this huge stretch of water best reveals the city’s immense beauty. Take a cruise or hop on a ferry from Circular Quay to reach the likes of Taronga Zoo or Manly Beach. 

Bondi Beach is the most iconic strip of sand here and regularly pulls a crowd, but it’s joined by a throng of sparkling beaches within the Greater Sydney area.

Darling Harbour is another glittering precinct. It’s home to superb restaurants and bars as well as a plethora of attractions, including Sydney Aquarium and the Australian National Maritime Museum. For incredible views of these glittering surrounds, head straight for the Sydney Tower Eye observation deck.

Soak up history with ease. The Rocks emits a wonderful heritage vibe, or retrace indigenous Australian history at the likes of the Australian Museum or the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain; the latter is the perfect place to picnic. 

Extend beyond Sydney’s reaches and unmask absolute gems. Royal National Park is the world’s second-oldest national park – having been established in 1879 – and provides sensational views and variable landscapes.

Palm Beach is the setting for the fictional town of Summer Bay in the long-running soapie Home and Away and this magnificent suburb sparkles.

Or visit Penrith, the gateway to the Blue Mountains. It is situated on the Nepean River and has a series of engrossing attractions.
